Unmapping Contact fields and expected changes in ODM or MOD data

Hi Wizards,

Please advise on the query below:

Client doesn't want data to be synced for few Contact fields due to data encryption/security issues in On Demand Marketing. Oracle has confirmed that data encryption is not achievable in ODM.

 

In order to achieve this, we are planning to un map field-mappings for these fields in ODM now. However, we need confirmation that after next ETL runs (post field un mapping), ideally either or both of the following is true:

a. All new Contact records integrated from CRMOD to ODM will no longer pull over data for the 'unmapped'
