EM11g: Detecting Gaps in Data Guard

We are using EM to monitor our databases and we have a few databases which make use of Data Guard. Occasionally, an archive log gap occurs and we want to be alerted for this condition.
I am familiar with the EM page 'Primary DB home -> Availability -> Data Guard Setup and Manage' which shows the last log number received and applied. I am looking for a EM metric which reports this info so I can get alerts when things are not flowing properly in my DG setup. There must be some Oracle provided metric I can use. I can't believe I need to set up a UDM.
