runcluvfy.sh version 11.2.0.3 very slow on AIX 6.1

On AIX6.1 TL6 SP5 2node rac which has 10.2.0.4 crs already is already installed  

Plan to do a rolling upgrade on this rac for GI upgrade.  Running  runcluvfy.sh with pre-crsinst rolling upgrade of GI to 11.2.0.3 and  is running extreamly slow like more than 10 hours.  Using java 1.6.0 and set the environment variable as suggested in java Reamdefirst  file which helped a bit but not much. 

Any clue how long it usually takes and how to speed up the runcluvfy.sh is appreciated.
