Geography Hierarchy setup for Australia

I am in the process of setting up eBusiness Tax for Australia. I have worked on US and Canadian tax setups but this is the first time I am setting up stuff for Australia so not very sure on the TCA Geography Hierarchy and Address Validation requirements. I am planning to set the address validation to validate the State field in the address. Is this the correct approach to take?

Any information on this regard will be very helpful
