Oracle and SQL server - transparent connectivity

Hi

we have a rather strange question and since we were not very sure about as to what particular community to post it to, we are posting it under generic database administration

We have a client who is per-dominantly windows / SQL Server shop. We are working on a project to deploy our application that used oracle as the back end database. The client being a SQL server shop, is reluctant to deploy an Oracle database based application due to various reasons with the foremost being the ability to integrate oracle database into SQL server world. For example they would want to farm data from oracle and SQL server databases and save it in an external database (SQL or Oracle). Is there a tool out there using which they can JOIN data

Howdy, Stranger!
