Upgrade help needed... Apps at 12.0.4 and Db at 10.2.0.2.0

I want to upgrade my ebs from 12.0.4 to 12.1.1 and then to 12.1.3.

My db version is 10.2.0.2.0 which I want to get to 11.1.0 or 11.2.0.

I would like to know.

1. Upgrade the db first, if so can I do a direct upgrade to 11.1.0 or 11.2.0 from 10.2.0.2.0 and will it support 12.0.4

2. Upgrade the apps from 12.0.4 to 12.1.3.  Can this be a direct upgrade.

I went thru couple of notes and they are not clear for me.  Please suggest the sequnce of upgrade to be done and corresponding notes.
