NETRA 240 - 2 CPUs, is Possible to increase the RAM up to 16 Gb.

Hello all,

I really didn't know where to place this query.

Basically We have a Netra 240 Server with 8GB ram ( 1G DIMMs on each one of the slots - 4 per CPU )

Regarding Netra™ 240 Server Service Manual, it is stated that allows up to 8 DIMMs connected in pairs.

On the service manual there is no reference a 4Gb RAM expansion ( just 2 Gb RAM expansion )

At the same time, In the Netra 240 Server Architecture it states  "The Netra 240 server will support 2-GB DDR1 DIMMs in the future to yield up to 16 GB maximum memory configurations."

Since the Latest Documents I found for this HW are from early 2004 I would need any advice on this topic.
