How to setup email distribution via Report Manager?

Hello

We are currently running FSGs via Report Manager in 12.1.3.  We would like to email the report to one and/or many users.  Is my understanding correct that the only way to email the reports is by using BI Publisher and setting up a Delivery Manager?  Can you set it up to email from a Report Set as well?

Most of the documentation I have found on Oracle Support as well as the internet seems to describe emailing via a concurrent request job.  When reading Report Manager documentation I get the impression those reports can also be emailed.  Can you direct me to any "how to" documentation that you find helpful?  I have already reviewed the
