Costing of Inventory Expense Items

 Hello Everyone,
Does the system calculates average cost for inventory expense items as it does for inventory items, inventory expense items are costing enabled items, but after processing a transaction there is no entry in these columns of mtl_material_transactions i.e actual_cost, new_cost, and costed flag is also unchecked. What could be the reason behind we are also using online processing of inv transactions.
