Date-Effective Funds Consumption

Given that in 11i multiple agreements on a project will cause separate invoices to be generated for each agreement; can anyone confirm if using the R12 Date-Effective Funds Consumption feature with multiple agreements will still cause multiple invoices to be generated? Or does the new funds consumption feature allow you to essentially combine funding from multiple agreements into one invoice?
