Using and renaming Line Attribute 1 for REsale Lines

Once I have selected LineAttribute 1, 2, 3, etc to appear in my Resale Lines layout and mapping, how do I make the field appear when editing a resale lines batch? I go into personalize when viewing lines, but I dont see Line Attribute 1 as an avaialble field to display.

Also, how can I rename it to something more meanigful?
