Install Parameters update
We are upgrading our EBS 11.5.10 environment to R12.1 and have recently implemented eAM. As part of the pre-upgrade steps for eAM we need to create an internal party and define this party in the Installed Parameters with this party and the Service: Migration Organization for Employee Service Requests profile option.
,In our environment,under install base admin, the party is defined 'GLOBAL ITEM MASTER' .It was done many years ago and not sure of the historical reasoning behind this Setup.When i query this party in contact center,the party type is displayed as EXTERNAL .
we have already installed install base long back and have lot of historical records on install base.
