Questions on SSL Authentication for Advanced Security

Dear experts,

 

Please put some light on below questions related to SSL Authentication for Advanced Security which I have received from one of my customer.

 

== SSL Authentication for Advanced Security ==

1.Do we need to use the user certificate issued from CA
and Wallet setting in Client side to authenticate both Server and Client?

⇒ need  information if there are some differences?

2.We are not able to perform communication with SQL*Net which used
SSL Authentication server without Wallet setting in Client side.

⇒ Could you tell us how to set the network transmission using SSL Authentication
without Wallet setting in Client side?
