Support Center Manager, Support Team Lead, Support Administrator Roles - Oracle R12.0.6

Trying to find documentation on the Support Center Manager, Support Team Lead, Support Administrator Roles as assigned to members of a Resource Group.  What additional functionality does assigning one or all of these roles to a Resouce Group member provide ? 

The version of the seeded Support Center Manage Role does not havethe "Manager" check box check on and because it is seeded, it is protected from update.  Does the checking on the Manager check box provide any additional functionality?  Same thing with the Support Administrator seeded Role, the Admin check box is not checked on. 

Just curious.  The current documentation that I can find talks only about hierarchy for Resource Group in Sales not in Support.
