switchover_status pending on 2nd standby

 I performed a switchover to one of my physical standby databases.  It went fine.  After switching over, I pointed my other standby at the new primary to start receiving changes.  The log apply seems to be working fine, but v$database.switchover_status still says switchover pending.  Is there any way to clear this, or is this something I do not need to worry about?  I have already opened an SR on this issue.  Database version is 11.2.0.2 EE on HPUX 11.31 with the October 2011 PSU applied.
