Accumulated cost are zero error 070R

Hello,

Our fixed asset system and G/L were out of balance and we discovered that the problem is from an asset that was never added in fixed assets from a prior year.  We added this asset into the FA system and now when we run depreciation this asset errors out with code "070R".  Does anyone know how to fix this problem?  Is it because the asset was entered int the G/L in a prior year?
