Uploading data to Payables Open Interface tables

Hello,

We're considering developing a desktop integrator to upload AP transactions through the Payables Open Interface tables.  My first question is how do we load a flat Excel file of invoices to the master-detail tables which make up the Payables Open Interface?  What are other considerations in our development effort?
