Hello,

I am using oracle 8i,

when I am trying to change the password (recreating the pass file) 

i am getting the following error when I am using this command:

orapwd file='D:\%oracle_home%\database\PWD<sid>.ORA'  password=password entries=2

OPW-00001:Unable to open password-file

I have done this a lot of time, I have never had any problem, and have not change anything..

please any idea
