Oracle seeded report outputs  such as Trial Balance have an extra character on certain lines which ends up misalignment  when download to Excel .  there is a Metalink doc.1170673.1 which suggests to write java prog. to remove it..I believe for each individual report which has this issue a java prog. needs to be written..

I will highly appreciate if anyone has a workaround for this?  and since this is not happening to all Oracle seeded reports, is there a list of the reports that have the same issue?
