Query regarding reorder point planing

Hi,

The client I'm working with uses Oracle ASCP for planning of CTO & ATO items as well as for lower level BOM components which are critical and/or high value (therefore set as MRP Planned). On the other hand, Reorder Point Planning is used for non-critical items and spares.

The sourcing rules are assigned to item categories at Category-Organization level. No sourcing rules are assigned at item level. The requirement here is to be able to auto create supply requisitions (Purchase Requisitions / Internal Requisitions / make planned orders) using these sourcing rules, for items which belong to the categories to which these sourcing rules have been assigned.
