safely delete assets

I am testing importing the assets into the assets master file by using P1201Z1 in the testing area.  Since i am new to this, i may have to insert the same assets multiple times.  is there a way to safely delete the assets from F1201 table?   I would like to do multiple runs to get it working right.  I am doing this in QA not production.
