AWR recommendation

In order for AWR to give better advice on sga_sizing, undo_sizing, buffer_sizing etc, how long should the snap interval be? Is one hour enough, or should it be days? My version is 10.2.0.3 on solaris 10, another database on 11.2.0.2 on solaris 10, and yet another database on 10.2.0.4 on linux. Thanks.
