Customer Exposure on R42550 Release Credit Holds report?

How is the Customer Exposure is calculated on the R42550 Release Credit Holds report?  It does not match the Total Exposure on the P42050 Credit Check screen.  Note 625508.1 shows a copy of the report where this field is blank, but doesn't explain how it is calculated.  I didn't see an explanation in the Sales Order Management 9.0 Implementation Guide either.  Thanks!
