SIM Handheld Key Mapping

 Does anyone know of any success using SIM with the Motorola MC65 handheld and the qwerty keyboard?
Specifically around using the shortcut keys for navigating the SIM mobile app. Accessing the special keys for Next, Previous, Total, Esc(Clear) is challenging or in the case of ESC/Clear does not exist.
Has anyone been successful in remapping these shortcut keys?
