High Availability Data Guard, Sharding and Global Data Services (MOSC)

Would like to convert a Data Guard from non ASM to ASM that has Data Broker implemented.

 I have I database with a physical standby. They currently use file systems. I would like convert to ASM. Data Broker is implemented. The examples I have seen deal at the SQL level. OEM has a convert to ASM job. Would this work for Data Guard?
