Putting the original query (run from Siebel) in to the report

We have a few reports that can be used for many different needs so we want to capture the original query run within the report somehow. This way, we could be able to reproduce the exact same report at a later stage., if required, and the report would have the context included.

This is a report that is run from Siebel and the View has over 20 fields, all of which can be queried on, and most of which are used in the queries.

We are looking for a quick and easy method to include the full context of the original query in the report. If it is possible to just put the query itself in (it might be ugly and useless to most people, but it would be handy for those who understood it), this would seem to be the easiest method to do this.
