R12 -FA and Secondary Ledger issue

I have st up a secondary ledger as a subledger level secondary ledger.  Entries created and transferred from the subledgers (AP and AR) create an entry in the primary and the secondary ledger simultaneously.  Why does the process NOT work the same for FA?  Entries are created and transferred to GL Primary ONLY but I have to post those entries in order to see them in the Secondary ledger for FA. Shouldn't the entries be created simultaneously as well in FA just like AP and AR?
