Receipt Method LOV

Dear Experts,

I have a question regarding the receipt classes definition. The receipt classes is the list appearing in teh LOV under receipt method of the Transaction screen

Is this receipt class definition OU wise.

If I add a new receipt method I am not able to view thw same in teh drop down under Receipt mehtod in the transaction screen.

If I attach the receipt method to the customer tah teh site level also it does nto default in the transaction screen.

I have gone through the UG as well as the Receivables IG.

Kindly help.
