Java concurrent program to generate xmlp reports

Hi,
I have a requirement to attach documents to generated PDF output.
I referred one of the blogs and I can see that its possible using Java api's.

My requirement now is to generate PDF output (using data template and rtf) and attach the attachment files with it.

Please share in your thoughts on this.
