Can we inhibit the conversion rule for some journal category if conversion level is set at "Subledge

Dear Experts,

We have a situation here wherein the client wants to inihibit the conversion processing for Inventory transaction because

the system conversion does not meet their requirement. Is this possible for reporting currency which is set at subledger?

All other modules except inventory are acceptable to them in terms of converting the transaction to reporting currency.

The client went to technical upgrade from 11i to R12. In 11i they can inhibit some transactions by just simply disabling

some journal categories but it seems in R12 inhibition is applicable only for the conversion level that is set to journal.

Any suggestions?
