Resource-level calendars for OPM-ASCP

We are trying to use Oracle to manage capacity.  We own both ASCP and Production Scheduling, but because of endless difficulties using Production Scheduling, our current effort is to maximize the utility of ASCP.

We are focussing on the resource-level Horizontal Plan in the planning workbench. 

What we have learned is that each resource has its capacity (Available Hours) calculated as follows: Hours X Count.  Where "Hours" is the time on shift from the organization calendar, and "Count" is the number of that particular resource equipment we have, from the count field on the resource setup (in an OPM responsibility: Route SETUP > Plant Resources).
