IMPORT questions

hi All,

Recently i did an import from 10g to another 10g database on another server.

after the import and the count of the rows of the table has increase. From the export file the the row count was 5170 and during the import the row count in the log was also 5170. But after 2 hours later when i check the row count in the database i have refresh it is 5179. Is there any reason for this? incase there was any insert of update took place how could i check to verify the extra rows came in after the import. Is there any query to check the time of the insert of what so
