Expensed Type Asset

Dear Experts,

I have entered an asset from Quick Additions which has an asset type of "Expensed".

These assets are not depreciated and are charged in a single period to an expense account.

In the assignments window under the Expense accounts i have given teh depreciation expense account.

When I run the depreciation this asset is not picked up as it is the functionality.

But I want to know how the amount is charged to an expense account and in which period.
