R12, how to extend FNDLOAD capabilities to our developrs without giving them the applmgr acct?

Hi All,

I have a question that i posed to Oracle Support and they referenced me to open a question on the forum here.  We currently utilize FNDLOAD in our 11i instance and the developers are able to execute FNDLOADs and extract out any extensions or standard migration move items.  Now in R12, when they try to execute the R12 FNDLOAD, they get a segmentation fault.  Of course they arent the applmgr user and it is most likely a privilege issue, but how do others get around this and give the developers access to download setups with FNDLOADs for instance migrations?
