Changing the Pcard on a dispatched PO.

We are looking at using Pcards on POs.  We are in PeopleSoft 9.0.  Question came up about changing the the Pcard for a PO after the PO has been dispatched.  Is that possible/recommended?  Looked to me like the PO would have to be canceled and a new one created to be able to change the PCard.  Business does not want that.
