How to configure SFWsudo on Solaris 10 U10 from the Companion CD U10?

Hello,
Please, is there any special trick to configure sudo from the Solaris 10 U10 Companion (got from sunfreeware)?
We have installed the package but it simply doesn't work.

Could it be related that root is currently a role and not a regular user?
