Info about DMS Application_11.1.1.1.0

Hi everybody,
anybody knows what is the use of DMS Application_11.1.1.1.0?

It is installed as part of the Forms Reports 11g install..

However 11g doesn't use anymore DMS, WLDF should be used instead...so I'm not sure what is the use of this app.
