How to delete Recruitment letters

Hi,

This question is related to Oracle Human Resource.

I have requirement to decommision the few recruitment letters .User should not be able to view the letters in the Request Letter Screen.For that i followed the below mentioned steps to delete the letters.

1.Navigate to Work Structures ->Recruitment Letter Type   and queried for the letter name and clicked on delete icon to delete  and saved .But for few letters i'm getting error message

'You cannot delete this letter type ' Cause You are trying to delete letter type for which letter request exists'.

So i had to delete all pending status request in request letter form and as well as the completed letters.
