Hi, Guru:

Learning RMAN.

Oracle 10g2.5. We have cold backup every night (Not using RMAN, it's snapshoot). Trying to use EM backup archivelogs. So, I am wondering how can I recover in case of a media failure?

1). restore the database from cold backup;
2)  restore and recover archivelogs using EM;
3). apply the archivelog, how?

If this works? Thanks.
