Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Amortization Start Date is restricted for only the end date of the period?

Hi Everyone,

I would like to change the life year of the asset that has been depreciate and life year still remaining.

And then I entered the Amortization Start Date. But I cannot select any date except the date of the end of month.

For example,

The current period is NOV-11.

Then I changed life year and entered the Amortization Start Date as "01-NOV-2011" then save.

When back to see the information again, I found that the Amortization Start Date was set as "30-NOV-2011"

How can I change it to "01-NOV-2011"? Have anyone experienced this issue? Could you please advise?
