Installing oracle iplanet webserver 7.0.13 as a package

I am trying to install iplanet webserver 7.0.13 onto Solaris 10 (x86) and have completed the install successfully using patch 145844-05 (Oracle iPlanet Web Server 7.0 Update 13, Solaris-x86 filebased patch).

However I would like to know what the 125438-X (Oracle iPlanet Web Server 7.0.12 Solaris_x86: Update Release patch) patches are for and how a base installation of webserver can be installed (as a package?) so that those patches can be used.


Currently if I want to update to a newer version of webserver I will have to download the full install again and use the update process. Is there a better way of doing this?
