Focus on the Child Line Item after Customization Completed

Hello, My customer have following requirement:

Scenario 1 :

CP1
  | Sub Prod 1 (default)
    | Sub Prod 1-1
    | Sub Prod 1-2
 | Sub Prod 2
    | Sub Prod 2-1
   |Sub Prod 2-2

They want to add a new product CP1 into the quote item, and click customize button at Sub Prod1's line and complete product config, When they click 'Done' and return quote item view, they hope the quote item expand and focus on the Sub Prod1's item. I have tested this in vanilla. Here as well I am not getting the focus on the exact child line item under the specific root product. But If I have the three customizable products under a quote, If I click on the specific product CP2, I am able to maintain the focus on this.
