Compatibility Rule Query : Orderable Flag in products

During Compatibility rule configuration, due to Orderable flag being “N” for component products, these products do not appear in the Product pick applet at the compatibility list applet while configuring. This is vanilla behavior and this is how it is mentioned in the bookshelf.
But NGCRM SK products have the components whose Orderable Flag is set to 'N' and hence we have to find a workaround to achieve this. We need this flag to be Y for choosing the product for configuration of compatibility rules.

We have come up with the workaround which is as follows:
1.Set the orderable flag to Y even for components whose Orderable flag should be 'N'
