Rman backup is giving the error

Hi Team

RMAN-03009: failure of backup command on sbt_2 channel at 12/20/2011 04:00:25
ORA-19506: failed to create sequential file, name="PSM_aehmddps.17179_1", parms=""
ORA-27028: skgfqcre: sbtbackup returned error
ORA-19511: Error received from media manager layer, error text:
   sbtpvt_catalog_open: file /orabackup/xxx/backup.logs/20111220.logs/Oracle_Disk_SBT_Catalog, open error, errno = 13
channel sbt_2 disabled, job failed on it will be run on another channel
