Oracle Auto Service Request Release 3.6 Enhancements and Features
  • The ASR Manager heartbeat function is no longer implemented as a crontab entry and is now an embedded ASR Manager process.
  • The number of potential local ASR Manager Service Request (SR) SNMP event recipients has been increased to 10.
  • The No Heartbeat e-mail content includes a link to a detailed MOS knowledge article for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Support for Solaris 11 individual asset heartbeat. ASR Release 3.5 added ASR support for Solaris 11, but did not support the Solaris 11 individual asset heartbeat.
  • Support for Solaris 11 ASR direct connect back to Oracle. ASR Release 3.5 added ASR support functionality for Solaris 11 connected to the ASR Manager, which remains unchanged. This enhancement provides customers the option to direct connect Solaris 11 assets to Oracle for ASR functionality.

Howdy, Stranger!
