Licensing EBusiness Suite in an HR only instance

Hi,

We have existing liscensing for EBusiness Suite (currently using), and recently HR (which we are just beginning to implement).  Our company has decided to install HR on it's own instance.  During the installation, the technical team chose to License 'EBusiness Suite' (the whoe thing, which includes Financials, Federal Financials, Projects and so on), instead of the individual components.  Financials is on version 12.0.6, HR is on 12.1.4

I am wondering if there will be any adverse effects with liscening the entire Ebusiness Suite instead of licensing only the Components we need (HR, Benefits, Talent Management etc.).  We will only be using shared Payroll.  Will this affect patching?  Other functionality?
