Journal creation

I have a question.

1. I create a manual journal in one book (pfi_mxn, for example).

2. Then I post that journal in that book.

3. A corresponding journal gets created in another book (pfi_mxn_usgaap).

Question is, how does the posting program running in the pfi_mxn book create a journal in the pfi_mxn_usgaap book?  We don't want that to happen.

Please reply as soon as possible.
