SQL*LOADER stops processing into External File as soon as rowlength > 16k is encountered: Oracle 1

We take the same code and same csv file and run it on Windows 2008 and Oracle 10.2.0.2 and it processes fine.
Version Bug  or Oracle port on this OS.  Logical IO blocks?

Any help is appreciated.
