sql queries go slow after 11i application database is upgraded to 11G Release 2

Hi  community ,

We have recently upgraded our 11.5.10.2 oracle applications database from 10.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.2 on solaris  , it was smooth  for a month  and  suddenly there is problem with the sql query performance and the queries are taking way long to get completed some take even hours .

any one out there in the community with similiar issue or experience can share their solution  with us .
