Siebel Oracle Configurator Timeout Issue
For Product configuration we are using Oracle configurator in Siebel and a call is made from Siebel to invoke Oracle Configurator within Siebel. This Solution was provided by SIEBEL in 2006 when Siebel was implemented in IR. Below is the high level process:
1. Oracle Product Configurator is invoked from Siebel Screen(Order and Quotes) through Customize button in Line Items.
2. Siebel uses a generic user Id for invoking the Oracle configurator
3. User creates a quote or order in Siebel and adds a configured product to one of the lines.
4. User selects configured product line and clicks the Configure button, which has been customized.
